Bricklayers Arms

63 Charlotte Road
Shoreditch
EC2A 3PE

This pub is not a listed building, but it is on the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Local Inventory as having an interior of Local Historic Interest, and the description is as follows: "Three-storey building of yellow brick with a timber ground floor. The three entrance doors indicate it was sub-divided but now it is just a single bar with a bare wood floor. There is an old (early 20th century / inter-war) canted bar counter with the front painted post office red and carved brackets. Some of the bar back fitting is old but much changed and fridges inserted. The room has a panelled dado also painted red and there is an old wood surround fireplace. There is an area on the left up two steps and three old leather covered benches."
