You may be interested to visit the Cleveland Arms, Bayswater, which has been suggested by Rex Ward.

There is an architectural curiosity up the road from the Leinster Arms at 23 & 24 Leinster Gardens. From the outside they look like real houses, but in fact they are just façades, preserving the continuity of the attractive terrace, and also sheltering the sensitive Victorians from the Metropolitan District Railway that runs underneath here and particularly from the steam that the old engines released as soon as they exited the tunnel behind the façades.

Not far from the façades is Chilworth Street where you may care to visit the Cleveland Arms at number 28. If you walk eastwards along the southern side of Cleveland Square you should reach Chilworth Street.
