Although this pub is neither a listed building nor on the London Regional Inventory, it is an intimate ex-Watneys pub with interesting post-war woodwork which is slightly kitsch but charming and nowadays a rare survival. Note also the ceiling with its mix of heraldic shields and what may be acoustic panels.
