Like the Railway, the Plough and the Shinner & Sudtone, this pub is not a listed building but it is community-owned pub and has been CAMRA Greater London’s Pub of the Year four times and it is currently CAMRA Croydon & Sutton branch’s Pub of the Year. The front part of the pub has traditional fittings while at the rear there is a conservatory leading into the garden.
